If a student has been in a high-risk area or shows any symptoms before coming to England, they should not travel. We will always offer the student a credit for the missed tuition weeks and encourage them to take the course at a later date. If they are unable to come at a later date, we will refund them in full and would only charge for the first week’s accommodation if less than one full week’s notice is given.
In the unlikely event that a student shows symptoms of coronavirus when they are at ELC, the student will be advised to stay away from school and self-isolate. Although we would not be able to offer a refund for the lost tuition, we would be able to add the lost weeks of tuition on to the end of the course or offer a credit so the lost weeks can be taken at a later date.
Students who wish to postpone their course may start at a later date. There is no extra charge for this, unless they give less than 7 days’ notice, in which case, they would be charged for 1 week’s accommodation.
