Huron University College는 웨스턴 대학교와 학업적 제휴를 맺고 있다. 고유의 프로그램을 보유하고 있지만 웨스턴 대학의 복지시설, 운동시설, 학업시설 등을 모두 이용할 수 있다. 수업의 80%이상이 45명 이하로 진행되는 소규모 강의가 진행된다. 이 대학은 훌륭한 수준의 도서관과 학업지원센터, 컴퓨터실. 취업지원실을 갖추고 있다.
Huron University College is a residential, liberal arts, social science and theology institution, academically affiliated with The University of Western Ontario (Western University). In addition to Huron’s own programs, services and campus, Huron students have full access to the academic, community, cultural and athletic facilities of Western and graduate with The University of Western Ontario degrees.
Classes at Huron are small: at the first-year levels, more than 80 percent have fewer than 45 students. The college has an excellent library, academic services centre, computer lab, and career and employment counselling, backed by the Writing Centre and further resources of Western University.
Huron’s mission is to promote educational excellence, to encourage scholarly achievement, to foster international understanding and cooperation, and to provide its students with a broad and useful education that will develop their intellectual skills, enhance their desire for knowledge and prepare them for positions of leadership and responsibility. It is a mission which is perceived and practiced in a global context. These goals are fulfilled through the range of academic programs and opportunities students have for extracurricular involvement at Huron and Western, through community-based learning, local and international volunteer service/missions, internships and in various study abroad programs.
