2년제 디플로마 과정인 건축 레노베이션 테크니션 코업과정은 건축물의 Renovation (개조, 수리)에 필요한 모든 기술에서부터, 건축재료, 건축스타일, 건축 관련 기계 및 전기설계 & 설치, 인테리어 디자인 그리고 Construction Renovation 프로젝트 실습까지를 배우고 경험할 수 있는 커리큘럼으로 구성되어 있습니다. 첫번째 1년은 Construction Techniques certificate program과 같은 커리큘럼입니다.
Renovation Technician은 주로 Architectural Technician 그룹에 속하기도 하고, 때로는 Carpenter-Construction 그룹에 속하기도 합니다. 졸업생들은 다음과 같은 직종 또는 분야에서 활동하게 됩니다. General contractor Renovation 스페셜리스트 Custom home building Project management Coomercial construction Commercial and residental building resortation Retail-building supplies, lumberyards and building centres
참고로, 1년제 certificate 과정인 Construction Techniques 프로그램은 건축도면을 읽고, 각종 건축 재료에 대하여 배우고, 건축 마감이나 각종 건축에 이용되는 도구들을 다루는 법을 배우고 졸업후 주로 Cabinetmaker 나 Carpenter로 일하게 되지만 졸업후 3년짜리 취업비자를 취득할 수는 없습니다. 그리고 3년~3.5년으로 이루어진 Cabinetmaker 프로그램이 있지만, 국제학생은 입학할 수 없는 Apprenticeship과정입니다.
