오늘 소개하고자 하는 직업은 보험 계리사 혹은 보험 설계사로 알고 계실, 보험관련 직종 입니다. 고등학교 때 인문계열이었거나 대학등에서 경영, 경제, 무역, 인문사회 계열을 전공하신 분께 추천드리고 싶은데요, 일상생활에 가까이 있고 꼭 필요하지만 자세히 알기는 어려웠던 보험업, 머피가 알려드립니다.
보험업에 관한 진실 과 거짓

모든 사업과 마찬가지로 보험 업 자체는 영업니다. 그러나 보험업계 안에서도 수많은 직종 들이 있는데요 그 중에서 실제 "영업" 에 헤당하는 직종은 Broker 혹은 Agent 입니다. 이 외에 Risk Management, Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, Appraising 이나 Investigations 등도 보험업에 속하는 직종들입니다. 자신이 "영업" 업무에 익숙하지 않다고 생각했던 분들도 다른 직종을 고려할 수 있습니다.

Risk Management 기업이나 사업의 위험도를 분석, 평가 하여 위험으로 인한 손해를 방지하거나 그 영향을 최소화 한다. Underwriting 은행, 보험회사 또는 투자 회사등에 의해 제공되는 보험에서 사례 손실, 손해 발생 등의 책임을 수락하는 인수업무를 대행한다. Claim 보험계약이 완료된 상품 등에 손해를 입었을때 알맞은 손해 배상을 청구한다. Broker/ Agent 개인 혹은 기업과 보험회사를 연결하는 보험 중개인 Appraising 보험감정, 평가 - 보험계약을 성사시키고 알맞은 보험금액을 평가한다. Investigation 보험측정, 검사 - 손해 배상청구가 들어왔을 경우 손해 과정을 검사하고 보험료 지급 여부을 결정한다.
